Touring Macbeth 1/7/23 - 5/30/23 with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company

In Macbeth, I had the unique opportunity to portray, not three, not five, but EIGHT characters! I portrayed a Witch, Ross, Seyton, Fleance, Donalbain, the Porter, a Murderer, and Young Siward. The kilts and weapons of each character made this track a master class in the art of quick changes. I challenged myself to focus on telling the story and not how to stand out just for the sake of it. I tried to make choices that I felt were both textually supportive and honest to who I am. To my delight, the audience consistently showed me love despite my not being as “funny” or “entertaining” as I have been in other shows. I learned that there is more to me than just being a clown, and I’m excited to move forward as an artist with more depth.
